The show, was the result of hard work in New Bradwell School and New Bradwell Department, Jubilee Wood School, Old Stratford Primary School & Deanshanger Primary School—schools of the Grand Union Partnership.

'All of our schools are very different, but also have many things in common— and by the end of this performance, we’re convinced you’ll agree that one of these is a love of the arts... especially when you see that some of today’s pieces are collaborations between one or more of our schools. So sit back and enjoy our programme of music, dance, drama and singing presented by your wonderful children. Every one of these talented young performers brings something unique to the event, but today we also celebrate the dedication, commitment, inspiration and passion of five individuals from each of the schools who have gone ‘above and beyond’ in some way over this year. For the first time, we will be presenting G.U.P. Arts Awards to these special performers—look out for this celebration later in the line-up. This is the first combined arts event by the schools, and we hope it’s the beginning of a new annual tradition.'
