Secondary Schools
The learning journey here at Deanshanger continues until the children complete year 6 near the end of July each year. At this point, they are well prepared to move to various secondary school providers in the location although the application process for a year 7 place has to start much earlier.
If you are a parent or carer of a child living in Northamptonshire at the time of your application you should apply for a secondary school place by 31st October (in their last year of primary education) although late applications are considered. When you apply for a secondary school place for your child you must submit 3 school preferences in order of priority. On 1st March during your child's year 6, you will receive a school offer.

Many of our children move on to the secondary school in the village - Elizabeth Woodville School (South Campus) in addition to other schools close by including Sponne, Buckingham School, Stantonbury, Radcliffe and Royal Latin - a selective Grammar and an Academy, therefore, pupils must satisfy the academic criteria for entry.

It is always lovely when our former pupils come back and visit us and/or apply for a place for work experience.
